Data & Analytics United - Certified Data & Analytics Tester is an interactive, two-day certification course designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to thrive as a tester in data and analytics environments. Throughout the course, participants will explore how to apply structured testing practices to effectively achieve and enhance quality objectives in their daily work.

As the prioritization of data grows, we aim to increase the trust that can be enabled by testers when supplying and evaluating reliable, complete, and continuous on-time information delivery.
A Certified Data & Analytics Tester is not only able to define a vision and test strategy, but also apply it to an efficient test approach in data-oriented environments and projects. They are also familiar with the essential test specification techniques that are required in data and analytics projects.

Successful DAU - CDAT participants are able to distinguish between different data quality attributes, measure these differences and apply essential data profiling techniques. They will also understand the intricate privacy aspects of the data that is associated with the given test environments and apply this to their data and analytics testing.
DAU Certified Data & Analytics Tester has been designed for test engineers, test coordinators, business analysts, data leads, data warehouse developers and business intelligence consultants.

Although there aren't any mandatory prerequisites:​

for Testers and QA Professionals: you will get a lot more from the course if you have already hold the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certificate - as this course will not cover the fundamentals and terminology of testing. This practical certification course will take your understanding of testing a step further and provide you with a variety of approaches and techniques that are essential for data and analytics testing.​

About Us (Data & Analytics United)​
​​Since 2017, the time when realized the lack of quality training on the subject of quality assurance and testing of data and analytics, we have been developing this training course for BI-consultants and testers; we have seen how well the Dutch market has welcomed our training with open arms. In order to share this experience further, we founded the "Special Interest Group" Data & Analytics United, bringing in a couple further international partners under the guidance and support of our friends at the Brightest team. Our overall goal is to improve the training we have been delivering and to provide a relevant curriculum and certification at international level, culminating in a certification exam via Brightest.
