Day 1

• Gain a comprehensive introduction to user experience (UX), usability, and accessibility (a11y), including their roles in creating inclusive, user-centered software.

• Understand how these disciplines interconnect with customer experience (CX) and apply ISO standards and WCAG guidelines.

• Usability reviews: explore user personas and archetypes, learn why, how, when to conduct usability reviews efficiently, using industry-accepted methods

 

Day 2

• Deepen your understanding of usability testing — when and why to apply it, and how to execute it effectively across different project stages

• Learn how to write a usability test plan, develop task scenarios, and conduct tests (both moderated and unmoderated)

• Generate objective and subjective insights to improve your software

 

Day 3

• ​Consolidate your learning by applying UX methods holistically, including risk-based thinking and communication of findings

• Explore professional UX tools and resources that are best practices to propel your career as a “UX Ambassador” to the next level

• Take and discuss the 40-question practice exam to prepare for the UXU - UX Certified Ambassador (UXCA) certification exam

 

After completing this training, you will:

• Be familiar with international standards for UX, usability, and accessibility

• Know how to define, create, and use user personas and archetypes

• Conduct heuristic evaluations and usability tests, and know what to test at each project stage to improve software

• Write effective usability test plans and task scenarios within this plan

• Conduct usability tests

• Collect and interpret usability findings, draw conclusions from observations, and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
